PARADIGM OF LOVE

There is and has been for the last several years an energy that is surrounding, enfolding and penetrating deeply into this world and impacting every living being here on earth. This energy will not fade away but instead will continue to intensify in frequency and volume until every living being responds to its’ call. This energy, being Love, must bring the necessary changes that will make its’ presence welcome. But before I continue I must ask that each of you let go of any beliefs that you have about love; about yourself; and about your fellow travelers in this world. Let go and breathe and come fully present into this message. Try to just absorb these words. Not to analyze or attempt to understand them but just be willing for a while to simply receive them!
In this moment we each may look out upon our world and surmise that love is not what we see! In fact we can assuredly say that what we see is sickness, despair, war, financial need…and the list can go on. You are right…love, as we know it doesn’t appear to be present here. The love we have learned to accept as truth is love based on an emotional framework that has been supported on a wobbly, insecure structure. It has not brought us what we want and in those moments that we thought we had love and somehow lost it, left us with deep wounds and pain and an insatiable desire for more of that love. Wounded and in pain we have sought love, the healing balm, in our need for security, prosperity, self-worth, wellness, comfort and fellowship with others. Many of us have become seekers of love, not just in this lifetime but our search has taken us over and throughout many lifetimes. We have failed in our search for this “emotional” love because “emotional love” is not “real”. “Emotional love” is conditional, unstable, transitory and unfulfilling! We are worthy of so much more!
The energy of Love that I am referring to has always been present to be received by anyone willing to meet its’ conditions, an open receptive mind. Why has the volume and frequency changed? It has changed to become a presence so forceful that every living mind must begin to pay attention. It is a call to awaken to what has always been here. We have ignored the call but not without experiencing the effects of our ignoring. We are experiencing sickness, financial lack, war both without and within, violence, emotional and environmental chaos and havoc, and an all-pervasive lack of peace. We want to believe that the cause is somewhere out there and we fail to accept the responsibility for our own thoughts and behaviors. The thoughts and beliefs that say we have a right to deny the gift of love. The right to hang on to our old thoughts and feelings that say that nothing has changed, nothing will change because,_________! You may think of one thing or many things/persons/situations. Each one that is listed is your resistance to what is being offered now. Love in its’ real, unconditional, consistent and eternal form.
Love is not emotional and cannot be experience from such a limited perspective. Love is a knowing experience that goes far beyond what we think we know now. Love is a statement of the truth of our being…not predicated by our doing…a son of the Creator. Love is an assuredness that all things both physical as well as spiritual have been provided for our great delight. Loves’ expression is joy. Its’ environment is peace!
We, over the many centuries and lifetimes, have been provided with many models that taught and lived from an expression of this Love: Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed, Krishna and many others. They have spoke of the necessity to awaken and receive the gift of whom and what we are. In this worlds’ religions all speak of this awakening: Resurrection, Nirvana, Enlightenment etc. We all have heard these words and still we sleep refusing to awaken and accept this eternal gift of love. We are like a huge immense Symphony Orchestra with members that are all gifted musicians who are able to perform beautifully! And yet, we carry our instruments in one hand, and a conducting baton in the other, each of us wanting to be the lead soloist and yet still wanting to conduct the symphony. On our orchestra stand is our own favorite sheet music, which is different than what the other orchestra members have on their stand. The result is disjointed, chaotic and horrific. Not totally dissimilar to the current picture of our world and many of our lives!
Somewhere in our deep catatonic sleep we have forgotten that the Conductor has always been our Creator and that unless he holds the baton and directs the symphony there can be no other results.
We have forgotten that the only music worthy of us to play is the song of Love but unless its’ played by all the members of the orchestra it can’t be clearly heard at all. The sounds that are produced are painful and tragic and deny the brilliance, magnitude and beauty of each of its’ members. Is this truly what we want? What value does sleeping really have?
Things, situations and events in this world will continue to change in the directions of our own thoughts and we will experience them almost instantly! Why so quickly? Because the energy of Love is present here and now! Anything that is not of Love will be brought to surface to be looked upon and evaluated as to its’ worth! We will either let go of our old thoughts and feelings and be brought into the embrace of Love or we will hold on to them and suffer our lack of love, which will be made manifest.
The holiday season is a time of celebration and gift receiving/giving to and from those we love. This holiday I gift to each of you the invitation to Love having been offered and accepting the gift myself.
All I ask in return is your willingness to give the invitation to Love to someone else. Now we can begin in joy and peace to be members of the Universal Symphony, led by our Creator, performing the holiest of musical compositions in eternity-Love.
