Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Ralph Waldo Emerson With the ending of the past year many of us found that the path that we thought we were on, ending, or more correctly seeming to disappear before our very eyes. Last years message was a message of change. Many of us experienced many wonderful and at times overwhelming changes. Some of the changes were physical such as moves to new locations; health challenges and employment changes. In 2003 we did do change! But with the changes there came new insights, greater joys and transformations that resulted in a greater awareness and more conscious choices for how we were going to live our lives. We may have become more committed to our spiritual path and or we may have encountered health challenges that necessitated our making decisions about how we would participate in our healing. 2003 held challenges for many of us but instead of withering away on the vine we grew!
In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.
– Albert Einstein
2004 is numerically a six-year; which carries with it the vibration (numerology) for harmony, beauty, nurturing, love, marriage or partnership, family, healing, and service. After any time of major change we need to allow ourselves permission to integrate and re-align our energies to adjust to these new dynamic changes. We have become different. Our appearance may not have changed but we are no longer the same beings that we were before. We may find that our thinking has changed, we may have also chosen for different behaviors and many of the old patterns of choosing may no longer be part of our lives. The six-vibration holds many wonderful opportunities for how we will/can experience this year.
This year is the year for coming into harmony with our energy and our environment. It is a year for relinquishing our struggles and instead to come into a synchronistic harmony with who we are, with how we live our lives, how we nurture our selves and our relationships. During this year we will be able to come into a pleasing and congruent state of wholeness that we may have never experienced before. An out picturing of this congruency may result in finding that we yearn for more beauty in our lives and begin to provide that sense of beauty. Hopefully we will decide to slow our pace somewhat and take the time to experience the natural beauty that is always around and present for us. Just for a moment, this experience will take a couple minutes of your time: stop what you are doing, and where ever you find yourself, look around you for the beauty that is there for you, look at the flowers, smell the flowers, look at the mountain, the desert, the field, the street and find the beauty there! Take a deep breath and experience the beauty of the moment. Nurture yourself in the beauty. You will still get to where ever you are going and will accomplish what ever it is you are doing but please don’t miss the opportunity of beauty!
Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.

In 2003 many of our previous reference points dissolved and with the coming of 2004 we may find ourselves in a strange, and utterly different place. As mentioned before it takes time for us to totally re-align and integrate our energy, it will also take some time
to fully change and restructure our reference points. It will happen! As we move through our days we will become more familiar with the new terrain of ourselves. Just remember to be fully present with the moments of those days. Again, taking deep breaths helps to anchor our energy and is a wonderful aid for restoring our vitality. Be open for new learning. With the departure of old patterns and behaviors there is an opportunity for new ways of experiencing our selves and our world. In 2004 we can learn more loving, peaceful and fulfilling ways in which to achieve our desires and to accomplish our goals. Once learned, these new avenues will always be with us.
A six-year holds the possibility of marriage, partnership and love. To bring this into actualization we may need to do some inner work! We hold so many judgments about loving others, which centers heavily on our past. Isn’t it time to dig deep into our psychological closets and to begin to clean out the old ideas and to welcome a new experience, an experience of love? Isn’t it time that we open our hearts full to participate in loving. Perhaps the love is just a deeper, clearer idea of loving our selves. Once we have achieved self-love people who will love us, as we are, will find us and return that love joyfully!
Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced. — James Baldwin
So let’s look our past squarely in the face, learning whatever lesson still to be learned and then move on to a different level of experiencing love. Let us stop limiting ourselves and instead begin to start sharing ourselves. Love is only fulfilled when it is shared.
2004 will be a year of service and what better service can be given besides the service that is done in love. Perhaps service is a way to share love so that both the giver and the receiver are blessed! This year we can begin to truly become that light that we are.
Happy New Years!
