Reflections on Truth in 2011

I want to start this Newsletter with a New Years greeting and Blessing to all of you and your families. I want for each of you the health, prosperity, and joy that you each greatly deserve. This year is about each of us. Regardless of how each of you view your self, your life, and your relationships… you deserve so much more…I deserve so much more. I am not making this statement lightly or offering a way of experiencing your world that would bring disillusion and despair, I am stating a simple truth. We each are capable of having the quality of life that we most desire. In order to receive this life we need to be willing to change our minds and to actively practice a different way of thinking. Our thoughts are very powerful and the life that we are experiencing is the result of our thoughts. Does your world appear chaotic, unsupportive and lacking many of the qualities that would bring you a sense of ease? It is not the government, the economy, the stock market and many of the other numerous reasons that we want to give as the reason. There is only one reason and that is our thoughts, both individually, as well as globally. Our thoughts have manifested and many are experiencing the results. I believe that we have forgotten a few fundamental truths about our origins and the origins of the Universe. I want to share with each of you the truths that I have been reflecting on and working diligently to make these truths part of my being. Perhaps there will be something in my reflections on truth that will speak to you.

God is not a noun; a person, place or thing. You will not find Its’ presence sitting on a throne, somewhere in the Universe, waiting patiently for your requests and then deciding if you have been good enough to receive ‘his’ blessings. God is a verb…a state of being which is formless or spirit. God is a name for that presence which is the source all creation. This Presence is nameless. When we assign a name we limit through its’ definition and this Presence is unlimited. In that creation we were called forth by his expressed desire and we were created in the same likeness. What this Presence has created is eternal and does not change or alter what it is through time but remains as it has always been…spirit with all the potential that is within the creator. What is eternal has no past and needs no future and is a state that can only be experienced in the present moment by moment. You will always find this Presense in the present moment. Here you can commune with your Source and here your Source can speak to you.

We are spirit with a manifested form that we call ‘human’. ‘Human’ is not what we are but simply the car we drive or the house that we live in. We are so much more! The more we believe in our human-ness the less we remember that our true nature is spirit; loving, eternal and unlimited. We have forgotten that our belief in our ‘human-ness’ has limited us to ‘doing’ and ‘making’; rather than as spirit, being and creating. Our thoughts will dictate the results we are experiencing. So much of the world you see is influenced and colored by your belief in your past and you think about your past all the time! Many of your minds are so filled with the past that it replays over and over again in your mind without any cessation. You can’t get present before bumping into your past. Do you realize that your ‘past’ thoughts will manifest in your future, infact are manifesting now? Is this the life that you really want? Nothing will change unless you change…This year is about you and me. It is about changing how and when and why we think, as much as it is about what we think.

These reflections have brought me to the realization that knowing who I really am in truth must mean that my thoughts will be focused on what I am! What I am needs no thoughts but does need a consistent, constant, and continual awareness. We have practiced our human-ness for so long that it has become a habit that denies our spiritual nature…denies what we are. Let us change our focus to one that is a concentrated focus on our being who we were created as. Can you imagine your world if you truly became the god-like being that you truly are? What could you want or desire? What could you lack? Who or what could deny you anything? The power is within us, as us! This moment is the moment to begin to call that Presence within you to be present. It is time to begin to live as that Presence moment by moment!
