I understand that summer time is often a difficult time to pursue interests that are not family orientated. Vacation and leisure time also may interfer with other interests…but please don’t feel that because you may have fallen behind in the workbook or you are not able to make a weekly commitment right now that it need stop you from attending ACIM groups. You are always welcome and you are always missed. I am continuing to offer ACIM on Tuesday 10 a.m.-12 Noon. I look forward to seeing each of you soon!

I know that many are dealing with obstacles and challenges that may seem difficult to move beyond. No matter the appearance of what you are facing, you are greater than the appearance. I talked about the Universal Pause in my last newsletter. The Pause, which has flowed throughout the Universe, with an out pouring of energy, is stimulating minds to remember their divine origin. This energy purpose is to awakened the minds of the Universes’ children.

I want to first extend to each of you and your families a wonderful, joyous and peaceful holiday! This year has brought about change for so many of us. It is often difficult to see the “good” in a situation that you believe has brought you loss. During these times it is very difficult to bring your focus into the present. But once this is accomplished you find that you are no longer looking at the “loss” but instead see the door of opportunity standing widely open before you. You enter through this door, moment by moment, while staying focused on being present. You will find an unrealized reality that far exceeds anything you have hoped to experience.

Prosperity is in the present moment. Prosperity is not an isolated event but is a principle of Gods’ presence being everywhere. It is in the present that God is manifested as love, peace, joy and everything that you could ever hope for. God is not somewhere “out there”, but right with you in the present moment. He will not leave you…he can’t leave you because you are his beloved, in whom he is well pleased. But you will only experience this presence when you are present. You will not find God (the source of your creation) in your past or future. Your past and your future are based upon time and God is not limited by our belief in time. The present moment is the portal to eternity, never changing, never ending and always present for you.

In this presence your world must reflect all that God is. Prosperity has never left you, but you may have closed your eyes to its presence. Open up your eyes and become aware of the opportunities before you. Live as the divine being that you were created as. Live with the joy, peace and love that have always been available for you. The only requirement that is asked is that you be willing to accept and receive what is before you, the opportunities and reality that where made for you. That is all. Is receiving so difficult?

We have become so accustomed to feeling that our accomplishments must be evaluated by the amount of our doing. I want to suggest that our accomplishments can only be evaluated through our being in the present and receiving Gods’ love. When we are consciously joined with the only power in the Universe what could we possible need to do? In letting go of “our little self” we become a child of God. As a child of God we are protected, loved, supplied with everything that will bring us happiness.

Why would we choose for anything less than everything? Because so many of us have fallen asleep to the truth and reality of our being. We sincerely believe that our doing makes and guarantees something in our world. We have come to believe that self-sufficiency leads to freedom and we are determined to be free. We have become individuals, separate from each other, our creator, separate from the prosperity that
was meant to be ours. Is this really freedom? We are simply asked to change our minds. We are asked only to practice being present. The practice seems to be very simple, but practicing being present will be the most difficult task that you will ever be asked to achieve. Why? We have allowed thoughts about our past and future to keep us in a place where the present moment can not be experienced! Can we let those thoughts go! How do we begin this practice?

1). Spending some part of our time in the stillness (a place where we let go of every thought and listen for the voice of God to instruct us in our moments).
2). Meditation with the purpose of connecting with the presence of God.
3). Forgiveness-letting go of past thoughts and beliefs.

In order for change to come into our lives we much first prepare a space for it to occupy. We attract to us those qualities that we have opened up a place to receive. Are you willing to start this day with a new way to experience what you want? Prosperity is here. Gods’ love is here. Where are you?

In my last newsletter, When Change Happens,I spoke about the Universal call for choice! Since that time I have also been caught on in the tidalwave of change. I have left central New Mexico and relocated to Southern New Mexico. Why the change? It was simply time. In this new location I have needed to release all of my past expectations. Not necessarily an easy or comfortable choice and I have been asked to trust this new process. I know from previous experiences that I can only see a small part of the picture in this moment. So I breathe, ground and get present for the adventure that is unfolding before me now! I know the call for choice and I can only choose for light, peace and truth of who I am and who I know all of humanity to be! I know that I am not alone in experiencing this massive change. Everything in our world is changing and nothing is the same as it was before. The changes have made very clear the interconnectiveness of us all, especially with the financial markets and we will live our lives, who and what we can trust in, and what we will value.

We no longer have the luxury of sitting on the fence hoping that our indecision might bring us a sence of security. The call for choice is loud and clear…choose for the light or darkness. Whatever choice we make collectively will determine the world that we all will experience! My friend and colleague has written an editorial for her newspaper, In Light Times, that she has graciously allowed me to share it with you.

It’s Not About Politics

First, let me start by saying, this is not a political editorial or stance. I am simply stating facts of what I am hearing from society and feel they need to be addressed.

Our world is in trouble and we all know it. What is happening today, poltically, economically and spiritually, is a raging battle. In fact, many believe our world is spiraling downward and perhaps coming to an end. Is it, and if yes, can we change the outcome?

How did we get here? Was it our complacency that began our journey into uncertainty? Did we stop caring or believing in humanity and its’ destiny? Did we forget the simple principles of life and that we are Divine Spirits of Unlimited potential? These are questions we must ask ourselves froma place of knowing. That sacred space of spirit within.

It is important we become willing participants in our own lives. We must not allow the politics or economy to distract us from coming back to center. We do know the answers; however, we must move beyond one element…that of fear. As long as we live in fear, the darkness will continue to engulf our world and truth will not be realized.

I understand that politics and our economy have taken center stage, plunging society into an abyss of fear and anger. And realize that as long as we allow fear to dominate our lives, we cannot hear the essence of truth. Unless we connect with our truth, eventually our light within will dim and our world will indeed not survive.

Fear creates insanity and darkness; love creates truth and light; truth creates knowledge and knowledge creates wisdom.

It is vital during these days to come together and combine our lights, our energy, our wisdom and knowledge with others of like minds. Prayer, meditation, circles and social events will go far in raising Earth’s vibration as well as societies. Doing random acts of kindness, without thought of payment, sets up an energetic vortex of paying it forward. We each play such powerful role in what happens to our world; let us stand strong and recommit to the sacred space within…that place where spirit resides.

With love, truth, knowledge and wisdom we are making a difference. We are bringing our planet back into a realm of completeness and beauty. Together we are united, divided we will not be. So what is it that you choose to do?
