Joyous New Year greeting.
There is an energy of excitement in the air. For many this year, the beginning of a new millennium, is being proclaimed the New Age. I strongly believe in this occurring but I wonder exactly what this New Age will represent. Will it truly be a New Age or just a dressed up version of what has been existing in our minds, homes, environments and nations that we will call, “New”, or will truly manifest something entirely different.
.In this last century the technological accomplishments have been astounding. Having been born in the middle of the last century, I have been witness to the many wonderful things that mankind can and has manifested. Unfortunately the manifested wonders have impacted the environment, wildlife, and quality of life in harmful ways. In this New Age we can make a commitment to change these thing. After this last century there should not be any doubt that we can manifest whatever our minds envision. In listening New Year eve, to a popular radio program where listeners were calling in predictions, I was overwhelmed by the amount of fear and skepticism that most callers held for this years’ possibilities. Since I know that thoughts create, I felt a real sadness that some of us still do not get the basic principal of manifesting…’that what we hold in our minds, must manifest’. So that in believing in the worst, the worst becomes the outcome.
There were a few callers that believed that this year there would be one of spiritual awakening bringing about love, peace and joy to this planet in greater degrees of experience. They did not say exactly how that would happen, in fact it was implied that somehow it would descend from the ethers and anoint us. I don’t know about anyone else but I am real open for an anointing!
I believe that the time for Spiritual awakening has already happened. I also believe in a world that is dominated by peace, love, joy and prosperity for all of Gods’ creations. I refuse to believe that there is anything to gain by holding on to fear and skepticism that some how implies that humanity can not experience the highest and best of themselves and manifest a world which reflects these qualities. I don’t believe that it will descend upon us but instead as each of us holds on to our highest vision for experiencing this world differently we will reap the harvest of those seeds that we plant. I believe that the experience begins by us making a committed decision to change our thoughts, aligning our behaviors to reflect those thoughts and become willing to live in the integrity of our beliefs. The New Age is ours to choose for…so let’s begin!
